Over the years our projects have ranked many first in the Indian real estate market. Planet Godrej, a skyscraper in Mumbai, was the tallest building in India when completed in 2008. This is a project where we broke the record of the most commercial end-user sales transaction in India when a large multinational pharmaceutical company bought space in the project in 2015 for Rs 1,479 crore. Our flagship project, The Trees, is the largest sustainable planned mixed-use project in India which we hope will contribute to the evolution of urban design ideas in the country. In the six months since the project was launched in 2015, we have sold more than Rs 1,200 crore, making it one of the most successful residential project launches in the country.

With an estimated 10 million Indians moving to urban areas every year, the country’s urban landscape is likely to change dramatically in the coming decades. We firmly believe that India should seize the opportunity of sustainable urbanization. Our group has always been at the forefront of the environmental sustainability movement. The CII-Godrej Green Building Center in Hyderabad, when completed in 2004, was the first LEED Platinum building outside the United States and the highest quality LEED building in the world. In 2010, Godrej Properties promised that every project we developed would be a certified green building. In 2010, Godrej Properties became a publicly listed company through a successful IPO in which it raised 100 100 million.
